About Proclaim These Words Ministries

First of all, I would like to thank you for visiting the website. God has brought you here for a reason, whether you heard the preaching, found us on Google, or saw something on Facebook. If you clicked on this link, it means you want to know more, and thank God that we have “peaked” your interests. Below you will see the story behind the Ministry, and what makes it different than any other ministry you have probably ever seen.

Why ``Proclaim These Words``?

Jeremiah 3:11-13 King James Version

11 And the Lord said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah. 12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever. 13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord.

I guess the first thing that many people ask me, is “What stuck out to you that you called it Proclaim These Words Ministries?” Well when I first started all of this, I prayed about a name that would stand out, and speak volumes about what I was doing. I had started a website with a gentleman by the name of Robert DeVaney back in 2014 in hopes to make a website full of biblical material. He liked to write articles like I did. When we were finding a name back then we searched for a while, and Proclaim These Words stuck out to me back then, but didn’t fit with what we were doing, and Robert like Foundation of God much more. Since it was his ministry he got the final say, so I kept it in the back of my mind back then. The name comes from Jeremiah 3:11-13 and various other references in Jeremiah, where he was instructed by the LORD to go and “Proclaim These Words” unto a backsliding Israel and to the cities of Judah. That struck a chord with me, because all throughout the bible, that is what the prophets did, the disciples were instructed to do, and the apostles did. They Proclaimed the Word of God to sinners so that they might receive salvation. While I am not called to preach, or be a missionary, I can still proclaim the words of great men of God who obey the Holy Spirit and preach the Word of God. That is the whole essence of the ministry, to proclaim great bible preaching so that anyone, whether you can attend church, there isn’t a bible-teaching Baptist church near you, or you simply are looking for more preaching to listen to on top of the instruction you’re receiving at your church.

How Did All This Start?

Colossians 3:23-24 King James Version

23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Originally this started, as simply recording the services for my church. It was something that hadn’t been done before. Our church was very small, and no one seemed to take an interest in it but the pastor and I. I went and bought a voice recorder and started recording the Sunday night and Wednesday night services. It took some time to get the morning services recorded as I cannot attend morning service most days. I started publishing them on the website, and published a podcast for the church and sharing them on Facebook. The church started taking an interest to it, and wanted CD’s made for those that don’t have technology that can access the website or Facebook.

In as little as year, God has blessed the ministry to upgrade the equipment and we now use a lapel microphone and pastor keeps the recorder in his pocket which results in much better audio quality. It has also been much smoother process, and in the last few months God has blessed me with a CD duplicator, so I can now produce many CD’s at one time.

Currently I produce 20 CD’s that are available in the church foyer free of charge to be listened to and given away to invite people to come, and join us, or witness to them that they might be saved.

God has blessed me in my crafts, as this is a multi-faceted project. When it comes to the recording, the audio editing, the cataloging the sermons, making images to go along with them, the album arts, the CD disc art itself, packaging, production, website design skills, among many other things, I have learned so much in the last year.

Now it hasn’t been perfect, I have fallen behind a few times, but considering that I work a secular job full time, and there are 3 sermons a week that I personally process, it takes up time, but I always try to do what Colossians 3:23-24 says and work wholeheartedly for the LORD, because at the end of the day, this is a true passion of mine, and I know the LORD will bless me for it.

So, Where Do You Hope This Goes?

Luke 1:37 King James Version

37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Honestly, if anything I would like to see Proclaim These Words be home to many churches’ sermons online, not necessarily a bunch close together, at least 20-30 miles apart, so that churches aren’t competing for someone’s visit, but instead it provides a network of churches that covers a wide area to give people all over a great place to go to church. Not like a convention or organization, but a tool that churches use, to help spread the gospel.

While I would like to see videos on the website someday, I’m kind of on the fence; I don’t want it to be used as a reason not to go to church, but more of a tool to further enhance church. I don’t want you to stay home, I want you to attend the House of God, and be there first hand, but let’s see you are sick, and don’t want to give the flu to the sweet little lady in the next pew, you can watch or listen to the service at home, and still get to hear God’s Word. It can provide those that are shut in and have no way of getting out, an opportunity to still experience church in their own homes and unlike television networks, I don’t want Proclaim These Words to be a collection plate.

I would love for Proclaim These Words to be able to offer CD’s over the internet for as cheap as possible, at least at cost of production and shipping if not less. I want Proclaim These Words to be as free as possible to the user, I don’t want to make a profit off of it, and it’s a non-profit organization. Actually like many missionaries, it is voluntarily funded by supporting churches or at least I would like it to be.

I would love to see pastor’s sermon notes along with the sermons or even transcripts of the audio, but I have looked into that and it is very costly, but I know with God nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37)
